Judging Criteria

IT products will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • An innovative, original and creative product that includes consideration of markets, challenges, competition and changing customer needs
  • Functionality and Quality
  • Business policy and marketing strategy
  • The durability of the product on this market and use of new technologies

Software solutions will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • An innovative, original and creative product that includes consideration of markets, challenges, competition and changing customer needs
  • Functionality and Inovation
  • Competitiveness of software
  • Business policy and marketing strategy

Web solutions will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • An innovative, original and creative web site that includes consideration of markets, challenges, competition and changing customer needs
  • Functionality and Inovation
  • Load speed, Visibility and Competitiveness
  • Usefulness / Access to information
  • Business policy and marketing strategy

Education solutions will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • An innovative, original and creative organization that includes consideration of markets, challenges, competition and changing customer needs
  • Access to knowledge
  • Expertise / Quality Knowledge
  • Recognition
  • Business policy and marketing strategy

Marketing and customer support solutions will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • An innovative, original and creative marketing project/campaign that includes consideration of markets, challenges, competition and changing customer needs
  • Evidence of quantifiable aims/objectives and timelines
  • Relevance and justification of the strategic approach taken
  • Corporate and Social Responsibility
  • Business policy and marketing strategy

Individual Awards will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • Strength of business case for a job that includes consideration of markets, challenges, competition and changing customer needs
  • Innovative spirit / Originality
  • Displays unique skills and attributes that contributed to the success
  • Levels of influence, decisiveness, drive, and passion shown/Impact on the market

Criteria for special recognition:

Special award for socially responsible company will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • Originality and Innovation
  • Employee Engagement
  • Business policy and results
  • Corporate and Social Responsibility

Special award for his contribution to IT education will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • Educational function and utility

  • Corporate and Social Responsibility

Special award for lifetime achievement will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • The impact on markets and customers

  • The time, quantity and quality which contributed to IT industry

Tips

  • Read the criteria thoroughly and ensure you include relevant information for each point
  • Make sure your project is relevant to the category chosen and write your entry specifically for the category entered
  • Put the information in the above mentioned structure and ensure each part is interlinked
  • While creativity and originality is important, demonstration with essential data will make your entry much more impressive
  • Explain what you wanted to achieve and why
  • Show evidence of a strong strategy. Give facts and don’t make assumptions
  • Make sure your forecast and results are in line with the objectives you set out to achieve
  • Once you finish writing your entry we suggest asking a colleague, who was not involved in the project, to read it. If they are not sure about something we suggest revising your entry
