For the past three years, IT Awards have been recognizing leaders of Serbian IT scene – individuals and groups who have generated an added value and achieved amazing results, both inside and outside the country. Digital Icons

Radio show “Digital Icons”  is created and run by Tamara Vucenovic. Since 2002 Radio Belgrade 2 (97,6 MHz) has been broadcasting talks and news about digitization, latest IT trends and virtual worlds every Tuesday from 9 to 10 am. Tamara Vucenovic is the author of the show that has been dealing with critical interpretations and analyses of various digital age phenomena. Having competent experts as guests, the show covered topics inthe following areas: development of information society in Serbia and the world, Internet and pedophilia, ecology and electronic waste, piracy and copyright, digital gap and protection of the poorest segments ofpopulation, new technologies and European integration, literary blogs and literature on the web, advantages and abuse of social networks, educational possibilities in the digital era, laws and the internet “sky” in Serbia and their comparison with EU legislation, etc. This educational show is unique for its content and concept in our media sphere and that is the reason it won numerous awards – IT Globe for best IT journalist, Diskobolos acknowledgment, best radio-television accomplishment in ICT field, special acknowledgment from Society of Information Specialists of Serbia for media contribution to the value of ICT in Serbia.
